Thinking about facilitating Raindrop or Applied Vitaflex? It doesn’t matter if you are doing it as a service or just for your family members, you need to complete your Return Demo! During your CARE course, you spent 4 hours to learn Vitaflex and 8 hours in Raindrop Technique. So much information in a very short time, although everyone tried hard to retain information and technique, there ought to be some areas of improvement & correction needed. If you are going to be faciliating raindrop technqiue or applied vitaflex, you should consider doing Return Demonstration. What is Return Demo: Refer to your CCI handbook pages 50 -58, there are 83 items the examiner is looking for, there is no surprises. You may use your raindrop and vitaflex notes. This is both an oral and a hands-on exam. What we are looking at is if you have the manual skills to perform Vitaflex and Raindrop as well as if you can explain what you are doing to the examiner as if they are a new student and you are their teacher.
It is a 4 hours exam. You will bring everything that you need including a demo person. The first two hours is set for Applied Vitaflex. You will explain the history and technique just like how it was taught to you at class. Then, you will perform all 13 vitaflex techniques on the demo person.
Take a short break and we will continue the next 2 hours with Raindrop, same scenario... explain the history and technique and then facilitated Raindrop Technique. Throughout the exam, make sure you are checking through all 83 items listed on your handbook on pages 50-58.
Don’t be stressed or intimidated by this. It is really a one-on-one opportunity to fine-tune your skills and it is such a great platform to further improve yourself towards being a great facilitator. If you are going to be doing raindrop on anybody, I strongly recommend you to complete up to Rep 11 (which is Return Demo), refer to pages 35.
Here is a short paragraph of instruction given by Dr. David Stewart to all examiners: "I believe our approach should be a simple test where the CARE Examiner notes the deficiencies and, after the return demo, brings them to the student's attention. If there are only a few places to be corrected and the student takes the corrections with the right attitude and performs properly with a few tweaks, they should pass. If there are many techniques to be corrected and/or the student does not take the corrections with the right attitude, becoming defensive or belligerent, and/or continues to make mistakes in performance after coaching, then they should not pass. If we approach Return Demos in this way, the system should work fine in sorting out those who will be good raindrop/vitaflex practitioners and teachers and those who would not measure up to CARE Standards. This approach should also minimize the gray areas where a clear pass or fail is not evident." ~ David Stewart Fees: US$ 400 **
